Men’s Leadership Series (MLS): Kansas Leadership for Today and Tomorrow

Join the Men’s Leadership Series (MLS), a transformative program that equips Kansas men with the knowledge, skills, and connections to lead in public office, electoral campaigns, and appointed roles. Since its inception, MLS has graduated over 200 men, many of whom now serve in the Kansas legislature, hold public office, or contribute to the current administration. This is your opportunity to become part of this impactful legacy!

Held one Saturday each month from June to October in odd years, the MLS brings together approximately 20 driven men—some preparing to run for state or local office, others seeking to excel in campaign roles. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all political course; it’s a dynamic series designed to foster a shared understanding of critical issues, build fraternal bonds, and empower independent leadership within Kansas communities.

What to Expect:

Our board and series co-chairs have curated a robust curriculum, featuring discussions led by experienced presenters, speakers, and consultants from partnering organizations. Topics include:

  • State and Local Government: Understand structures, roles, and responsibilities.

  • Social Issues: Navigate complex societal challenges with clarity.

  • Fiscal Issues: Explore government taxation, spending, and economic priorities.

  • Political Campaigning and Elections: Master strategies for success on the campaign trail.

  • K-12 and Higher Education: Address policies shaping Kansas’s future.

The heart of MLS is you, the participant. Your experiences, insights, and active engagement in these discussions are what make this series thrive. Together, we’ll tackle the salient issues of the day, forging not just knowledge but a network of principled leaders ready to serve Kansas.

Why MLS?

  • Gain practical insights from seasoned experts and peers.
